Winnerwell® Fireproof Mat 31.5"x38.5" Carbon Fiber- Aluminum Foil

The Winnerwell® Fireproof Mat is constructed from carbon fiber with an aluminum foil layer, offering heat resistance up to 400°C. Designed to be placed beneath your stove, it protects your groundsheet from sparks or embers. Additionally, it can be hung on the wall of a tent or shelter using the riveted grommets to shield surfaces from radiant heat, providing versatile protection in various camping setups.

The main function of a fireproof mat is to prevent direct contact between flames or sparks and flammable surfaces. However, due to its thin design, its heat insulation is limited. During prolonged stove use, carbon may accumulate at the bottom of the firebox. If the firebox is too close to the ground, heat may transfer through the mat, potentially causing overheating and damage to the ground or tent floor.

Important Notes:
1. Heat may still transfer to the ground if stray embers are not dealt with promptly.
2. The mat will not protect the groundsheet if embers are left to burn on it.
